Diane and Kenz’s wedding was breathtaking. Even more so, was their elation with each other. Diane and Kenz met while finishing their PhD’s at New Mexico State University. Both are now astronomers and finishing some of their studies in Germany. Pretty awesome! They  wanted a forest setting for their wedding, which I think they nailed.

Amy and I have been friends since we were teenagers. It’s hard to believe that was 15 years ago. So when she asked if I could take pictures at her wedding, before she finished the sentence I was already shouting, “heck yes!”. Amy and Sean were married in Salem at a family member’s home in the countryside. They were supported by a large group of family and friends ready to party! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from their wedding.

Congrats Amy and Sean!

A little bit of business and pleasure mixed into one trip, we headed out for a few engagement pictures for our friends, Lauren and Tim. The gorgeous scenery at Smith Rock – it’s impossible to take a bad photo. Add that, plus two friends who love to adventure, and we were in heaven. We left bright and early here in Portland, for the two and half hour drive to the crag. After we finished snapping some candids, and the photo Tim and Lauren really wanted – on top of Monkey Face, we did some fun climbs after to finish out the day.  Here’s a few photos from our adventures. Enjoy!
